About Us

MVDC is an all-volunteer organization committed to achieving racial equity on Martha’s Vineyard. Its large and diverse membership is a repository of talent which MVDC’s leadership calls upon for its primary task of facilitating and enabling other Not-For-Profit organizations to accomplish their own goals toward racial justice.

MVDC does not subsume but rather uplifts those partner NFP’s and provides them the means to fully realize their goals. MVDC is headed by a racially diverse Board of Trustees and operates with several committees such as Law Enforcement, Health Disparity and Education.
