Jordan Moss
Jordan graduated from Vassar College in 2020 with a degree in International Studies. She has been recognized with various leadership fellowships that have enabled her to live across the United States and Europe to conduct political research and support community building efforts. She began working with the Martha’s Vineyard Diversity Coalition in 2020 on the Criminal Justice Committee.
Jordan worked extensively in sexual violence prevention throughout college, particularly in crisis response and education. As a young professional, she focused on peacebuilding, stabilization, and intelligence gathering in rural populations globally, with a significant portion of her professional work dedicated to countering violent extremism in communities facing climate crises.
Balancing international work with a deep appreciation for local engagement, Jordan has also contributed to the island’s agricultural community, spending several years as a farmhand in small-scale agriculture and occasional oyster farming.
Jordan is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Johns Hopkins School of International Studies and Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs, specializing in international economics and geopolitics. Her diverse cultural experiences, commitment to community building, and profound respect for the island have made her a valuable addition to our board and community at large.
